How it'll look

above is a quick mock up of how the designs should look once they've been printed on the garments. Didn't want to spend too long doing this so it's a little rough around the edges but you get the idea. Looks Sweet!

Hoodie Design

The Above is the final image to be featured on the Zip-through hoodie. the design will be printed in large scale on the back of the top, hopefully creating a bold logotype.

Colourways are not decided, featured is the so hot right now CM, of CMYK. however colours are subject to change. The garments are Navy Blue and Charcoal Grey so colours will be light, and likely fairly pastel.

Supplies

Today marks an important day in the production of the clothing, orders have been placed to screen suppliers for the inks and meshes to print the clothing. A painful amount of money was parted with but soon the rewards shall be reaped.

T-Shirt Design

Above is the final design for the breast of the TShirts. The concept plays heavily on the Royal Armouries identity, shapes and features taken from the image have been borrowed or manipulated to create this design.

"Leeds Surf Cub" will be printed in the bottom right of the shirt, above the hem. in doing this the shirt will be more dynamic, and have two focal elements.

Colors are subject to change, there will be a series of prints in different tones on different coloured fabrics.

Watch the space for more updates on progress of the hoody design, work coming soon.

Smack the Pony

After what seems like an eternity, and having battled with a design i did not only believe in, nor have the desire to complete there has been a change of direction, starboard side.

The move is not a total digression and has been informed by the many citations and decisions taken to get to this point.

Progress

Above is the latest piece of progress with regard to the design.
I have taken the original Leeds Coat of Arms design and traced the basic composition and shape.

Following this i have re-designed it using some of the elements we had chosen. In the middle image you can see both layers together to hopefully get a rough idea of how the image has changed but the composition has remained similar.

I have replaced the shield with a surfboard, the Owls with waves, the floral decoration with a rising sun and have kept the text scroll the same. in doing this i hope the image has become more relevant to the group it represents, whilst maintaining a reference to the Leeds area.

The above are working drawings, anything can be changed and the texture and weight of line will evolve, most importantly the lines will likely have more variation and certain areas will be shaded and possibly coloured.
